Healer, herbalist, and druid of the Black Shroud wilds, Aife is a kind soul, who has recently taken the position of Archdruid of the Emerald enclave

Descended from an ancient eldritch Keeper of the Moon bloodline of mages, Aife is often a bright and cheerful juxtaposition to much of the dark history surrounding her bloodline. Before her birth, her mother's clan, the Crowclaw disappeared under mysterious circumstances, leaving her mother to raise Aife on her lonesome outside of occasional visits from her sire. Raised in the traditions of the crowclan clan, Aife showed a gift for conjury from a young age. It was on her eighth summer that the young keeper began to hear and feel the elementals as a hearer. Her gift was kept a secret to stop any chance of the Stillglade Fane from removing her from her mother's care. On her sixteenth summer, once her training was complete as a crowclaw, Aife set off to Gridania to hone her skills in medicine, studying under an apothecary master for three turns. Aife's early twenties were spent alongside her mother working as healers, midwife, and other "witch" type work such as aiding in the removal of curses, conducting rituals for local farmers to help their crops flourish, and other oddities that fell into their skill set.

It was in her twenty-fifth summer that Aife met the Widjigo Clan and joined them for a time only to find with time she wasn't suited for the clan.

Having spent the last several moons studying to take her mother's place, Aife recently became the archdruid of the Emerald Enclave, a small group of druids and nature lovers devoted to protecting and maintaining the balance of the shroud.

Hair: Thick orange-red locks of loose curls or waves depending on how well she can tame her hair that sun. Prone to frizzing up in humid weather. Falls halfway down her back. Her mane of red is well cared for and usually worn in an assortment of feminine styles, often involving braids.

Build: Petite hourglass.
Distinguishing Marks: Freckles on her face and all across her body. She has -a lot-. Keeper markings on her cheeks and forehead. A birthmark on her shoulder shaped like a tree that has recently been tattooed over with the symbol of the bole as a show of new devotion to Nophica. A few small, hidden sigil tattoos for protection. A tattoo of triskele on the back of her neck. A jagged scar across one side of her stomach and a faded bite mark where her neck meets her shoulder on one side. A woad blue tattoo of a totem spirit on one of her shoulders of a deer hooved man in a loincloth and a deer skull mask.

Profession: Druid. Most of her magic falls into the realm of conjury but she never received any formal training from Stillglade Fane despite being a hearer. Has knowledge of thaumaturgy as well including curses, sigils, and the like. To many of the folk of the Black Shroud she's simply a witch, something Aife doesn't deny. Formally trained as an apothecary in Gridania during her late adolescence.

In ancient times, the ancestors of the Crowclaw Clan had individuals called druids who were often conjurers who served nature-aligned spirits or gods (commonly Nophica). They were considered a sacred priesthood whose duty was to balance and protect nature. However, the term druid isn’t unique to the crowclaw. The word can be seen in different cultures throughout Hydaelyn and may or may not have different meanings depending on the cultural context.

Sweet-natured and affable, Aife isn’t the threatening type and is mostly pacifistic, preferring to avoid confrontation unless her hand is forced or to defend those close to her. An empathetic woman who cares deeply for all life, nature and human alike, Aife generally thinks with her heart rather than her head, aiding anyone who would require it. Her general outlook can be described as naive, Aife always seeing the best in people while trying to happiness to those around her even if it means disadvantaging herself. Deeply loyal, Aife's devotion to those she surrounds herself with is unwavering. She is also a pious woman with a strong belief in the Twelve, spirits, and the unseen forces of the universe.

Recently became Archdruid of the emerald enclave.Has been investigating the lessening of aether in the shroud and the growing amount of voidsent appearing the shroud with the help of the emerald enclave members.Mother of three very happy, healthy triplets who are seven moons old.

· Healer & Midwife: Aife is trained as a healer and midwife. If your character is in need of healing or looking for a midwife to help deliver their child she may be of assistance.

· Eager to learn: Aife is eager to learn more about healing in all its form. While she rarely leaves the Shroud, her eagerness to learn more about healing, herbalism, or magic may just interest her enough to travel to another part of Eorzea or Ala Mhigo. She is also currently training to be a druid and priestess of Nophica and is seeking to learn more about other groups spiritual and/or religious beliefs
